Wang Qinghua, born in December 1976, is a native of Xiuning, Anhui Province. He received his bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in law from Peking University; and a master's degree in law from Harvard University. He was the editor-in-chief of Peking University Law Review. He is a visiting scholar at the Yale Center for Chinese Law, a visiting scholar at Oriel College, Oxford University, and a visiting scholar at the Center for Chinese Law Studies, Columbia University. He has traveled to Europe and the U.S. to participate in international academic conferences and conduct academic visits and exchanges. He was a professor at the China University of Political Science and Law, deputy director of the Institute of Constitutional Law, and founding director of the Center for Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Legal Research. He is now a professor, doctoral supervisor, and director of the Research Center for Digital Economy and Law at the Law School of Beijing Normal University. His academic interests are mainly in constitutional administrative law, sociology of law, American law, and big data and artificial intelligence law.
