In 2011, the city’s total population was 805,300, an increase from the previous year 4998 people. Among the total population, there are 403,300 men and 402,000 women; the male to female ratio is 100.35:100. The city's non-agricultural population was 265,300, accounting for 32.95% of the total population, an increase of 0.45 percentage points over the previous year. There were 6,760 births and 5,921 deaths throughout the year. The birth rate was 8.4‰, the death rate was 7.35‰, and the natural population growth rate was 1.05‰. Throughout the year, 3,557 people moved in and 3,010 people moved out.
