The 90s girl who is brave enough to follow her dreams
When she was very young, Maolian thought of becoming a good fashion designer. Although she did not become a designer later, but the whole day shuttle between the clothing industry, but also became a senior clothing people.
this dream, initially from the elementary school teacher . Talking about the impression of the teaching teacher, woolen still clearly remember:
"I remember when she came in the fall, stayed with the same length of hair as me, looks very beautiful, and our side of the people are different, wearing a trench coat, especially literary.
She especially liked to draw and dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, but by mistake she became an elementary school language teacher."
Every time we have a study session, the students are seriously doing their homework under the stage, while the teacher is drawing on the blackboard with those white and colorful chalks. This wonderful and magical image makes wool interested in drawing and love drawing, even to the extent of an obsession.
Since then, every piece of land in her hometown has become a place for her to find inspiration. In her free time, she would take her notebook and paintbrush and write and draw on the loess slopes, using the paintings to tell her heart. Although she did not receive specialized study and training, she enjoys this feeling of freedom.
So, after the high school exams, she did not hesitate to enroll in a clothing college to pursue her clothing dream . But was admitted to the international clothing trade program, which focuses on marketing.
Although there is a bit of a gap between the "fashion design" profession and her dream, she has learned some basic knowledge of fashion design. In addition to the later work, did not leave the clothing industry, it is not deviated from their own clothing dreams.

Second venture of the back wave
Before the creation of the clothes borrowed clothes, woolen also had a business experience.
Talking about this entrepreneurial experience, she laughed at herself, "I started this business because I couldn't find a suitable job.
The work she expects to do is to realize her own value, and secondly, her value is proportional to the price. But in her home city, it is difficult to realize. Plus she needs to take care of her family, while her position requires frequent travel.
After all these considerations, she opened a clothing studio, which was her first business venture. This is located in the residential building of the clothing studio, carrying the beauty of her dream, everything is their favorite way.
Even if she was so busy that she didn't have time to eat, and even had to take her 2-year-old child with her on business trips, she was happy to do it. Because she felt that she was doing something very interesting, and this love has always driven her to keep moving forward.
In the course of her business, she realized that many clothing store owners don't even have the basic knowledge of merchandise and display. So she closed the studio, found her new position, and started the management operation of the national affiliate stores.
From the initial market research to the store decoration design to the group of goods to the goods to the daily display training and operation support, she let her own value to be maximized.
Although the money earned is very little, but to help some of the clothing store owners to better realize their dreams, this dry, is three years.
After these three years, the bottleneck appeared, every day's work is full and busy but little gain. She began to reflect on her own, a person's ability is limited, she needs a team.
So, she once again defied her family's obstacles and came to Shenzhen alone, becoming a member of the deep drift army.
Deep drift in a year, she tried to find ways to enter the clothing Internet company to learn, understand the organizational framework of a company as well as operational ideas. In the startup company she experienced everything, would like to fight, but finally even personal life has become a problem, perhaps the pressure on her is the opportunity.
Because of the impact of the epidemic, a lot of customers who had worked with her before approached her and asked her to help her come up with ideas on how to solve the problem of unsold goods. Combined with her previous work experience, she realized that many do clothing generally face high costs, lack of funds to buy goods, business downturn, into the goods do not sell out and other issues.
These fortuitous events, she saw this huge market opportunity. Coupled with the impact of the epidemic, the entire clothing industry is having a hard time, and she herself would like to help the clothing people to do something. The bone of that tossing vigor, let her start her second business .
Finding a venue, finding a partner, putting ideas on the ground to achieve, her entrepreneurial career started again. From one person to a group of people, the number of peers grew.
In the coming time, Woolen will work with the team, with the original intention of "empowering the garment industry chain practitioners" to create a more professional platform for more garment people to give full play to their talents and realize their value.
Q&A
Q&A with Clothes & Wool
Q: Clothes
A: Wool
Q: Have you always been in the apparel industry? Or was it because of some random chance?
MaoLin: I went to fashion school, but I majored in international apparel trade, which is more of a marketing management program. Really into the clothing industry is probably in 2012 when I graduated from college, went to Xiamen's seven pi wolves as a trainee. Then later, whether you open your own store or work in the enterprise, you have been doing this line of clothing.
To say the opportunity, there is also. Elementary school teacher, can be said to be my painting and clothing teacher, she let me fall in love with painting, have a dream, a dream about clothing .
Q: In the costume industry you have worked in, what type of role have you been in?
Wool: Actually, I wanted to be a fashion designer more at the beginning, but I ended up doing the operation and management of fashion brands/stores. Although my identity is different, at least I am still making my favorite clothes, and I am enjoying it.
Q: What made you make up your mind to do the platform "Clothes Lend Clothes"?
Wool: The main thing is that I have a never-ending passion for clothes, I love my job, and I need a platform where I can realize my own value.
Of course, there are my dreams and my children. I allow myself to work hard to create better conditions to realize my dreams and set an example for my children.
Q: Tell us about the strengths/highlights of Clothes to Clothes and your expectations for the platform.
Wool: Other wholesale apparel platforms do more of the "selling" thing, and don't really solve the problem of users' money. The main reason for this is the fact that the user can rent free samples of clothes through the clothes lending platform, and the backlog of inventory can also be **** to the platform, so that other merchants can help sell, so as to resolve the high cost of opening a store, the capital can not be turned over to the business difficulties .
Let them spend the minimum cost to maximize revenue, this "rent to sell" approach is the highlight of the clothes lend clothes .
I hope that the Clothes for Clothes platform is not just a rental or wholesale platform, but a platform that allows all apparel professionals and aesthetics enthusiasts to realize their value.
Q: Why did you choose Shenzhen as the starting point for this venture?
Wool: At that time, when I decided to start my own business, I considered four cities, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Xiamen, but after a comprehensive comparison, I finally decided to take Shenzhen as the city where I would start again.
First, because the latest designs are in Shenzhen , whether it's the innovation of the Internet or the innovation of clothing fashion, it is the most cutting-edge city, and adjacent to Guangzhou, one of the largest apparel supply chain markets in the country; second, this city's inclusiveness is better, the pace is faster, and I'll be able to find like-minded people. .
Q: More and more women are starting their own businesses, but most of them don't make it. What was the biggest difficulty you encountered in this venture, and how did you solve it in the end?
Wool: I think the biggest difficulty I encountered came from myself. I actually have dyslexia, but in practice I'm all about action, which is what I need for my work. I've been overcoming my weaknesses and breaking through since I started my business.
Q: The early stage of entrepreneurship is usually very busy, how do you balance career and family?
Hair: This question is actually encountered by every entrepreneur. After all, everyone's time and energy are limited, and it's too difficult to balance both. For me at the moment, I give my full attention to my work and don't want to be disturbed.
Outside of work, I try to spend time with my parents and more time with my children.
