One day I was discussing with a German classmate about punctuality.

About work: At least in the field of my work, compared with the colleagues I have contacted so far, it is very standardized and rigorous! Working hours are real working hours, at least where I work. After a whole day, sometimes I don't even have time to wash my hands. The schedule is too strict!
