The soft test is divided into three grades: junior, middle and senior, including 27 test subjects such as software, network and applied technology. These 27 subjects are not tested every year, some subjects are tested twice a year, some subjects are tested 1 time a year, and some subjects don't even arrange exams.

At present, candidates are most concerned about two subjects related to project management: intermediate system integration project management engineer and advanced information system project management division. Because the examination contents of these two subjects are relatively easy to understand and master, and there are two examination opportunities a year, we generally refer to these two subjects in the soft examination.

Soft test subjects in the first half of the year

Advanced soft exam: project management division, system analyst, system planner, administrator.

Intermediate level of soft test: software designer, network engineer, information system supervisor, system integration project management engineer, information system management engineer, embedded system designer, e-commerce designer, database system engineer.

Junior soft exam: programmer, network administrator, information processing technician.

Soft test subjects in the second half of the year

Advanced soft exam: project management division, Information System, System Architecture Designer, Network Planning Designer.

Intermediate level of soft test: software designer, network engineer, software evaluator, system integration project management engineer, information system supervisor, information security engineer and multimedia application designer.

Elementary soft exam: programmer, information system operation administrator, network administrator, information processing technician.
