Beijing Vocational College of Social Administration is a public higher vocational college for skillful talents in the field of social management and social service, and it is a national civil administration higher vocational education, cadre training and scientific research base integrating the Ministry of Civil Affairs Training Center, the Ministry of Civil Affairs Vocational Skill Appraisal Instructional Center and the Ministry of Civil Affairs Social Work Research Center. It is the construction unit of the teaching resource base of the Ministry of Education's elderly service and management specialty, and the first batch of modern apprenticeship industry pilot units in the country.

The college has built two campuses in Yanjiao and Daxing, covering a total area of 906 acres; it has built a gymnasium, a library, and more than 10 training centers and more than 60 training rooms including key training rooms at the ministerial level; it has more than 4,500 enrolled students and 325 staff members; and it has six secondary colleges, offering 18 majors.
