The Capital Institute of Physical Education is the only higher sports institution in Beijing and has a major in sports training. It was rated as a Beijing municipal-level professional characteristic construction site. In addition, 101 colleges and universities including Beijing Sport University, Tianjin Sport University, Hebei Normal University, and Shenyang Sport University have them. Currently, 16 colleges and universities are planning to add this major again.

Why is this major so “hot”? Take the just-concluded Tokyo Olympics as an example. The wonderful performance of the athletes not only promoted the national fitness movement, but also made the profession of "sports training" really "popular". China will host the 24th Winter Olympics in 2022. As the host, the demand for "sports training" professionals is also increasing, which will invisibly promote the development of this profession.

02 E-Sports Sports and Management

If you like e-Sports, now is your chance! This major focuses on cultivating various professional e-sports talents with high standards in terms of game variety research and development, IP event creation, professional team operation, and derivative product development. At the same time, professional e-sports teams will be established and professional e-sports clubs will be established. This is a great thing about turning a hobby into a job! Currently, only Shandong Institute of Physical Education and Hebei University of Communication in the country offer this major. In the near future, two more institutions will be added, namely Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education and Sichuan Film and Television Institute.

03 Community Correction Major

Many people are unfamiliar with this major and have not even heard of its name. First, let’s take a brief look at this major: Community correction mainly studies criminal law, prison science, community correction theory and other related contents. It mainly uses psychological guidance and behavioral norms to correct criminal psychology and bad behavioral habits. According to data feedback, the majority of personnel are engaged in prisons and public security organs: penalty execution, psychological correction, education management, and social work.

The major of traditional Chinese medicine and health care is about Chinese medicine clinical practice, Chinese medicine health care, health management, etc. In addition to Henan University of Chinese Medicine, Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other colleges currently having this major, Qilu Institute of Technology, Guangzhou Huashang College, and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Oriental College will plan to add this major.

05 Biological Breeding Major

On the basis of recruiting biological science majors, China Agricultural University actively responded to the country’s call to carry out technological research on the “stuck neck” of provenance, and increased the number of biological breeding The two research directions, plant breeding and animal breeding, enroll students according to seed science and engineering (plant breeding direction) and animal science (animal breeding direction) respectively.
