In 1983, Xiang Ligang graduated from Anhui Provincial Commercial School, majoring in commercial accounting, and entered Wuhu Food Company as an accountant.

In 1990, he was admitted to Renmin University of China through self-study, and studied literature and art, with more in-depth research on artistic productivity, psychology of literature and art, and catharsis psychology, as well as dabbling in contemporary and comparative literary studies.

In 1993, he joined the People's Posts and Telecommunications Publishing House under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications as a book editor, editing a large number of books, and since 1997, he has promoted the establishment of China's first computer learning magazine for the general public, Learning Computer, and participated in the whole process of proposing to change the publication, looking for cooperation with PChome Magazine in Taiwan, and the trial publication and publication of the magazine. In the meantime, he entered the graduate program of computer science and application at the University of Science and Technology of China.

Before and after 1997, Mr. Wang extensively researched the development of the IT industry and the Internet industry, and wrote a large number of articles on the industry, which had a wide impact and earned him the title of "Yanjing Big Writer" from the Beijing Youth Daily. Mr. Wang Xuan personally wrote a letter to express his gratitude for his article criticizing Peking University's Founder, saying, "We have made copies of the article and circulated it among the relevant personnel and leaders of the Founder, and we have specially convened a meeting of the senior management and relevant personnel to review the development work."

In 1999, he became the director of the Market Development Department of People's Posts and Telecommunications Publishing House, and was responsible for carrying out strategic research on the development of the publishing house, and through the market research, he proposed that a comprehensive industry media "Communication World" should be founded, which integrates news, information, policy, regulations, market, technology, and products, etc. At the end of 1999, he took a small amount of investment from People's Posts and Telecommunications Publishing House and started to set up his own business, and on January 8, 2000, "Communication World magazine was founded, becoming the first weekly magazine with market-oriented color and impact in China's communications industry, which was widely recognized by the market in a short time. In the following year, it became the magazine with the highest income in China's communication industry. After several years of development, Communication World has not only become the most influential magazine in China's communication industry, but also cultivated a large number of excellent talents.  

In 2007, his wife, the famous Chinese media personality Sage, suffered from cancer and quit her job at Communication World in order to be with her in the hospital in her last years. After her death, she fought with Vogue magazine to protect her labor rights. Finally, she was compensated by Vogue for her work, and established the "Yuan Xiaojuan Hope Primary School" named after Sage in Zhiyang County, Shaanxi Province, where she worked as a laborer.

In 2007, seeing the huge opportunity of the mobile Internet, the decline of paper media and the rise of new media, he founded Flying Elephant, which soon became the most influential and well-known website in China's communications industry.

Since 2007, he has specialized in researching the theory and products of mobile Internet, formed a complete value theory of mobile Internet, and conducted in-depth research on smart phones, business model of mobile Internet, industrial structure of mobile Internet, and future development direction of mobile Internet, and has given more than 100 lectures to the government, telecommunication carriers, cell phone vendors, Internet companies, and colleges and universities. He has given more than 100 lectures to government, telecom operators, mobile phone manufacturers, Internet companies and universities. He has also given a lot of training to Korean government organizations and international famous companies. He understands the development of mobile Internet very well and has a lot of resources of telecom operators. He is a renowned expert in the mobile Internet industry for his theory and practice, and for doing both theoretical research and product development at the same time.

In 2011, he believed that the development of mobile Internet mainly focuses on the network, smart phones, and new business level, and the business management and billing platform and customer service platform are very lacking, and the industry development is very imperfect. In March 2014, he founded Seven2Zero (Beijing) Health Technology Co., Ltd. to develop and research on intelligent health products.
