Dongguan is on the top of the list of City Attractiveness Index, Young People Index and Population Attractiveness, recently released by Baidu Maps!
▲2020 Q2 National Major Cities, Population Attractiveness List (TOP60)
Recently, Baidu Maps WiseEye released the "2020 Q2 China City Vitality Research Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report"), which was prepared by the Baidu Maps WiseEye team in conjunction with the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University and is designed to objectively reflect the vitality of Chinese cities based on the Baidu The report, prepared by the Baidu Maps WiseEye team in collaboration with the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University, aims to objectively reflect the demographic vitality of cities across the country based on Baidu Maps spatial and temporal big data.
The Report shows that Dongguan entered the top three cities in the country on the 2020 Q2 City Attractiveness Index, coming in behind Shenzhen and Guangzhou; and that Dongguan pipped Nanning, Shenzhen, and other cities to the top of the 2020 Q2 Young People's Index value. In the 2020 Q2 National Major Cities Population Attractiveness List, Dongguan ranked third in the country.

In Q2 2020, the top 10 cities in the Migration Scale Index were Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Shanghai, Dongguan, Zhengzhou, Suzhou, Xi'an, Foshan, Hangzhou, and the developed tourism industry in the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta and Central China. The Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Central China have developed a strong tourism industry, and the cities have an active population flow.
Dongguan ranks fifth in the country after Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Shanghai! The data shows that Dongguan is very active in terms of economic interactions and population movement!

In the second quarter of 2020, among the Population Attractiveness Index Top 10 cities, Dongguan was in the top three, ranking behind Shenzhen and Guangzhou. (See table below)

On the 2020Q2 Youth Index Ranking, Dongguan pipped cities such as Nanning and Shenzhen to the top. It means that Dongguan has the highest number of 18-34 year olds in the city's new inflow population at 77.31%. (See table below)
