Solving the data fusion problem. The Big Data Reference Architecture is a set of logical building blocks at different conceptual levels, with the goal of creating an open reference architecture for Big Data technologies that enables system engineers to develop a solution in an interoperable Big Data ecosystem that solves the problem of needing to use multiple approaches arising from the fusion of various Big Data features.
