You don't need any software, just copy and paste, and write it intact, just like taking an exam in a USB flash drive.
Using DVD to record data requires software, such as NERO, which has a menu. Just select the data DVD.
Drawing files can be carved into DWG discs intact. If there are special requirements, it can be converted into JPEG, TIFF and other image formats, and generally it will not be converted into PDF.
