Subsidized objects

During the period from March 1 to December 31, 2023, individual consumers who purchased compliant new energy vehicles in Guangzhou (based on the invoice date) and completed the registration before January 31, 2024 will be given a subsidy of up to RMB 10,000 yuan.

Subsidy Criteria

According to the guideline, Guangzhou will provide the following subsidies to individual consumers who meet the eligibility requirements:

If the tax-inclusive price of the unified invoice for the sale of motor vehicles (hereinafter referred to as the price of the vehicle) is between 100,000 yuan (inclusive) and 150,000 yuan, the subsidy will be 10,000 yuan per unit; if the price of the vehicle is between 150,000 yuan (inclusive) and 200,000 yuan, the subsidy will be 8,000 yuan per unit; Vehicle price of 200,000 yuan (including) or more, the subsidy of 6,000 yuan / unit.

(a) New energy vehicles included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Recommended Model Catalog for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles" and "New Energy Vehicle Model Catalog Exempt from Vehicle Purchase Tax".

(2) Registered in the Guangzhou New Energy Vehicle Local Subsidy Application Information System and connected to the city's new energy intelligent vehicle big data monitoring platform.

(3) In accordance with the principle of advanced technology, safety and reliability, the vehicle meets the relevant conditions in the fields of energy efficiency, low carbon, intelligent driving, intelligent control, power, energy consumption, etc. (see the attached table, all models are required to satisfy the basic conditions and advanced conditions corresponding to any one of the indexes), and realizes the large-scale promotion and application.

Vehicle Requirements

(1) New energy vehicles included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Catalogue of Recommended Vehicles for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles" and "Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempted from Vehicle Purchase Tax".

(2) Registered in the Guangzhou New Energy Vehicle Local Subsidy Application Information System and connected to the city's new energy intelligent vehicle big data monitoring platform.

(3) In accordance with the principle of advanced technology, safety and reliability, the vehicle meets the relevant conditions in the fields of energy efficiency, low carbon, intelligent driving, intelligent control, power, energy consumption, etc., and realizes large-scale promotion and application.

Application materials

(1) individual consumers' valid identity documents;

(2) vehicle sales invoices;

(3) motor vehicle registration certificates;

(4) bank savings cards or passbooks for current accounts;

(5) vehicle information numbers.

Processing

(a) the dealer collects the above individual consumer application materials, uploads them to the designated system of the Municipal Road Affairs Center and sends them to the vehicle manufacturer for verification;

(b) the vehicle manufacturer verifies the relevant application materials and sends them to the third-party agency commissioned by the Municipal Development and Reform Commission to review the vehicle information materials;

(c) after reviewing the Application materials sent to the Municipal Road Affairs Center for verification, after verification of the correctness of the subsidy funds issued to individual consumers.

Other Matters

(1) The application materials should be submitted by January 31, 2024 (inclusive), and those who fail to submit them after the deadline are deemed to have given up their eligibility to apply for the comprehensive subsidy.

(2) Individual consumers shall be responsible for the authenticity of the application materials, and those who provide false information, apply in bad faith, or fraudulently obtain subsidies will have their subsidy funds canceled and be held liable in accordance with the law once discovered.

(3) Each eligible new energy vehicle can only apply for a comprehensive subsidy. The individual consumer and the vehicle sales invoice and bank account owner provided must belong to the same person.

(4) Valid identity documents are those used within the validity period, such as resident identity cards, military officer's cards, passports, Hong Kong and Macao residents' permits for travel to and from the mainland, Taiwan residents' permits for travel to and from the mainland, residence permits for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, and residence permits for foreigners.
