The second function is identification. Many social enterprises and organizations are willing to provide preferential treatment for veterans, but they often encounter identification problems. At present, the types of documents held by active servicemen and retired servicemen are different, some are professional, some are not highly recognizable, and the styles of documents in different periods are different, which local comrades do not understand and are not familiar with. By issuing a unified preferential treatment card, the whole society can have a clearer identification of retired soldiers and other entitled groups.
The third function is to carry out treatment. Different types of holders can enjoy corresponding preferential services according to the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Retired Soldiers and relevant state regulations, such as package tariff concessions provided by China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom, motor vehicle refueling concessions provided by China Petroleum, logistics distribution concessions provided by China Post, SF Group and Debon Express. In the future, the state will give preferential treatment to veterans and survivors of martyrs, survivors of soldiers who died in the line of duty, and survivors of deceased soldiers. All the content that can be enjoyed by vouchers will be identified and authenticated by discount cards, so as to implement and protect their legitimate rights and interests.
The fourth function is service management, and the data of the discount card is related to the large database of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Through the use of discount cards, we can more accurately grasp the work and life of users, which is convenient for us to better improve our work, be close to the needs and provide accurate services.
