Operations Research is the study of optimization skills, Finance is the study of state distribution and its laws, and Statistics is the study of the ability to organize and analyze data.

As a college student majoring in logistics engineering, I just studied operations research and statistics last semester. Although it is a pity that I didn't have the chance to learn about finance, I know quite a lot about it in the general environment of the School of Economics and Management. Today, I will talk about my own learning feelings.

Operations Research, we can see from the name of this discipline focuses on the operation of the tent above. This is an applied science, usually combined with the rapid development of electronic computer technology, *** with the solution of enterprises, military and other media in the production, transportation, management, sales and other aspects of the problem, and put forward the optimal solution to the problem. After years of development, operations research has a huge branch system, which is a rich content, close to the actual practical life of the discipline.

Finance is a branch of political economy, mainly research in different social systems under the state as the main body of the distribution relationship and its development law. The main body of the state financial distribution, the content of fiscal research is also different. This is a discipline that requires students to have a keen macro perspective, to stand on the country's big angle to think about the problem to find the law.

From elementary school, we have been briefly exposed to statistics. Statistics is a comprehensive discipline, a universal method of obtaining data, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. In this era of rapid development of big data technology, the role of statistics is becoming more and more prominent, a good grasp of statistical knowledge can make itself stand out in a competitive employment environment. In this discipline, students are required to acquire the ability to understand complex formulas and flexibly utilize statistical tools such as SPSS and EXCEL.

These three disciplines each have their own characteristics and focus, and all have strong practical significance.
