Tiantai County belongs to a fourth fifth-tier city .
Tiantai County, a county under the jurisdiction of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the east-central part of Zhejiang Province, connecting Sanmen County and Ninghai County of Ningbo City in the east, Linhai City and Xianju County in the south, Pan'an County of Jinhua City in the west, and Xinchang County of Shaoxing City in the north.
Hydrology
Tiantai County streams belong to five water systems: Jiaojiang River, Cao'e River, Baixi, Qingxi, and Haiyouxi. Beginning Fengxi is the largest stream in the county, running from west to east through the Tiantai Basin, originating at the southern foot of Dapanshan Mountain in Pan'an County, with a total length of 132.7 kilometers (68.5 kilometers in the territory), and a watershed area of 1,610 square kilometers (1,111.54 square kilometers in the watershed area).
Beginning Fengxi Tiantai territory tributaries more than 40, of which Sanmao Creek source out of Xinchang County, Liao Village, from which the southwest into the territory of Tiantai County, the mainstream length of 26.5 kilometers, the watershed area of 157.5 square kilometers; Cangshan Creek source out of the town of Sanhe horse line Gangtou, the main stream length of 22 kilometers, the watershed area of 163 square kilometers.
Soil
Tiantai County, the implementation of 1:50,000 land quality geochemical survey work on the whole range of land, the project investigated 26,998 hectares of arable land in the county, of which 324,000 acres of permanent basic farmland reserve, *** collection of arable land soil samples of 3,588 pieces, analyzed and tested pH, K, Mn, P, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cr, Ni, Co , V, B, Mo, Cd, As, Hg, N, Se and other 18 indicators.
And according to the former Ministry of Land and Resources "Land Quality Geochemical Evaluation Specification" (DZ/T 0295-2016) and the national soil environmental quality standard (GB15618-2018), the comprehensive soil nutrient geochemical grade and the comprehensive soil environmental geochemical grade were evaluated respectively; and on the basis of these two evaluations, the comprehensive soil geochemical grade was evaluated. The results showed that the quality of Tiantai County-wide arable land was generally good, 92.50% of the arable land was not polluted by heavy metals, and 84% of the arable land had a nutrient level above medium.
