Methods of professional examination:
1) Theory paper (focusing on the history of Chinese calligraphy in ancient Chinese calligraphers, works, the type of questions based on the choice, fill in the blanks, judgment, etc.) 50 points.
Reference textbook: Calligraphy Course (by Wang Dengke, published in April 2007 by Liaohai Publishing House).
2) Running Script or Cursive Script 100 marks 3) Clerical Script or Seal Script 100 marks
4) Regular Script (including Weibi) 100 marks
5) Creative Writing Paper (create a work based on the content provided, in any style of calligraphy) 50 marks
Total 400 marks.
Note: Candidates taking the Calligraphy Specialized Examination must bring their own brushes, inks, felts, and other examination utensils.
The ratio of passes issued for our professional school examination is 1:4.
