Guizhou Province, abbreviated as Qian or Gui, is a provincial-level administrative region of China, with the provincial capital Guiyang. It is bordered by Sichuan and Chongqing to the north, Hunan to the east, Guangxi to the south, and Yunnan to the west. As of 2021, the province has a total area of 176,200 square kilometers,**** with six prefecture-level cities and three autonomous prefectures.

Topography

Guizhou is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with the terrain of the country high in the west and low in the east, tilting from the central part of the country to the north, east, and south, and with an average elevation of about 1,100 meters above sea level.
