The history of Gansu University of Political Science and Law:

The predecessor of Gansu University of Political Science and Law is the Gansu Province Political and Law Cadre School which was founded in 1956, and then it has been withdrawn and changed its location many times, and it has gone through several phases, such as Gansu Administrative Cadre School, Beiwan Five-seven Cadre School, and the reconstruction of Gansu Provincial Political and Law Cadre Training School, etc. In 1982, the Gansu Provincial Political and Law Cadre Training School was officially relocated from Beiban, Jingyuan County, to the present site of the school.
