Extended data:
The main purpose of the pilot program of Chu Arts Craftsman is to deepen the high-quality reform and development of vocational education and explore the cultivation of high-level and high-quality vocational skills talents.
Chu artisans plan to focus on the "three highs and four creations" specialty and the rural revitalization strategy. Hunan provincial undergraduate colleges and higher vocational colleges combine their own school-running characteristics to jointly cultivate high-quality undergraduate technical and technical talents with noble professional ethics, advanced professional concepts, high educational level, skilled professional skills and innovative thinking ability.
In 2023, the total scale of the first batch of pilots was 1320, and the undergraduate training was completed in higher vocational colleges in four years. After graduation, undergraduate diploma and degree certificate will be awarded.
This year's pilot projects all adopt the "4+0" training mode, that is, after the candidates are admitted to the pilot undergraduate colleges, the colleges and universities will train in the corresponding higher vocational colleges for four years. Pilot higher vocational colleges will arrange classes for these students separately, and undergraduate colleges and higher vocational colleges will also jointly set up talent training programs to strengthen the training of skilled talents.
During school, students are not allowed to change majors in principle, and non-pilot students are not allowed to change to the "Chu Yi Craftsman Program". Student status management is determined by the school agreement between the two pilot schools.
During their study in school, students enjoy the same treatment as students in pilot undergraduate colleges in scholarship evaluation, financial aid for students with financial difficulties, employment and entrepreneurship assistance and guidance, student loans, party (league) member development, graduation treatment and so on. After completing four years of undergraduate study, eligible students can obtain general undergraduate graduation certificates and degree certificates from pilot undergraduate colleges.
Therefore, in a sense, the plan can also be said to be "borrowing chickens to lay eggs", using the relatively loose school-running resources of higher vocational colleges to train undergraduate students and make up for the shortage of school-running resources of undergraduate schools.
If the first batch of pilot projects are successful and achieve good social effects, the scale may continue to expand in the future, and on the basis of improving students' craftsman skills, the undergraduate admission rate will continue to increase.
