Hardware facilities of Chemistry College of Liaoning University
The college has an analysis and testing center and five research institutes (Institute of Complex Chemistry, Institute of Rare Element Chemistry, Institute of Applied Chemistry, Institute of Polymer Materials and Institute of Light Chemical Industry). The college has four doctoral degree authorization points in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry and physical chemistry, five master degree authorization points in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry and physical chemistry, polymer chemistry and physics, and nine doctoral supervisors (inorganic chemistry: Zhang Xiangdong, Song Ximing, Wang Jun, Han Zhengbo; Organic chemistry: China; Analytical chemistry: Zang, Zhang Lei; Physical Chemistry: Song Ximing, Guan Wei).

The central laboratory, namely the Analysis and Testing Center of Liaoning University, was established on 1987 with a loan of US$ 2 million from the World Bank. Can carry out all kinds of analysis and testing, advanced instruments and equipment, is a provincial-level certified analysis and testing center. The existing large-scale instruments are: HP5988A GC-MS; S-570 scanning electron microscope; JEM- 100SX transmission electron microscope; Electron energy spectrometer; High performance liquid chromatograph; Gas chromatograph; Preparation chromatograph; PE-2400 carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen analyzer; 1730 Fourier transform infrared spectrometer; F-20 10 molecular fluorescence spectrometer; U-3400 automatic recording ultraviolet spectrophotometer; 84 10 plasma emission spectrometer; Atomic absorption spectrometer; 4Q automatic X-ray diffractometer; DPS-8 150 thermal analyzer; Constant current plotter; Polarimeter; Nuclear magnetic resonance instrument and other instruments. The newly introduced projects of "2 1 1" include J-8 10 circular dichroism spectrometer (Japan); P4 four-circle diffractometer (Germany); 300 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance instrument (USA).

Liaoning University School of Chemistry has two reference rooms. There are 6373 foreign language books and 3 19 1 Chinese books. There are 143 1 reference books in English, Japanese, Russian, French and German. There are 43,692 Chinese and foreign periodicals. The school library has a collection of more than 6.5438+0.4 million books and various professional periodicals. Shenyang Institute of Applied Chemistry has established "Walter Scholarship" and "Walter Prize" in the School of Chemistry.
