According to the policy, all students majoring in normal education who were admitted to six normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education in 2007 must sign basic teaching agreements with the schools. For example, Shaanxi Normal University has issued a supporting policy: freshmen majoring in normal education in 2007 are obliged to teach in rural primary and secondary schools in the west for three years while enjoying free education. During the teaching period, students can go back to school in winter and summer vacations to study for a master's degree in education, get a master's diploma during the teaching period, or continue their studies after the teaching. After the teaching, the state will provide special job fairs for graduates to choose their own destinations; In addition, the state has also taken into account the housing, marriage, children and other issues when graduates teach, and corresponding policies will be introduced one after another.

College student volunteers who participate in the "Western Plan" can enjoy the following policies in addition to the preferential employment policies for college graduates stipulated by the state:

First, the central government provides necessary living allowances (including transportation subsidies, personal accident injuries and hospitalization medical insurance) during service. The living allowance is 600 yuan/person per month (800 yuan/person per month for those who serve in Tibet), and the transportation allowance is RMB 1 ,000 per person per year (those who serve in Tibet and Xinjiang shall be determined separately according to relevant state regulations).

Two. The length of service is calculated, and the relationship between the party and the masses is transferred to the service unit. After the expiration of the service period, the public security organ shall go through the formalities of relocation in registered permanent residence in accordance with the relevant provisions.

7. The service unit shall provide volunteers with necessary living conditions such as accommodation; In the recruitment of civil servants by party and government organs and supplementary professional and technical personnel and management personnel by state-owned enterprises and institutions, priority is given to the recruitment and recruitment of volunteers.

Eight. China youth volunteer service bronze medal will be awarded to those who have served 1 year and passed the examination at the expiration of service period. Those who have served for 2 years and passed the examination at the end of the service period will be awarded the Silver Medal for Youth Volunteer Service in China and the Gold Medal for Youth Volunteer Service in China. Volunteers who participate in the western plan enjoy eight policy supports stipulated in the Notice of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Personnel on Implementing the Plan of Volunteer Service for College Students in the West (Zhongqinglianfa [2003] No.26). Relevant policies have been further clarified, and some new policies are as follows:

1. After the service expires 1 year, those who pass the examination and apply for graduate students will get a total score of 10; If the policies issued by colleges and universities are favorable to this policy, refer to the policies of colleges and universities; Priority admission under the same conditions.

2. After1year of service, you can apply for civil servants of state organs as college graduates. Those who apply for the central state organs and civil servants in the eastern and central regions will be given priority under the same conditions; Those who apply for civil servants in the western region have a total written test score of 5 points.

3. During the service period, the registered permanent residence and files will be left in the graduated university, and the service fee will be exempted. After the service expires, the school will issue dispatch cards.

4。 During the service period, you can enjoy a half-price discount for hard seat tickets four times a year between your pre-school residence and your service place.

5. If it is really difficult to apply for a student loan during the school period and repay the loan during the on-the-job period, colleges and universities should actively coordinate with banks and other relevant parties to help them delay repayment.

6. Conditional colleges and universities can use some scholarships to encourage and guide college graduates to volunteer at the grassroots level in the west.

Volunteers who participate in special actions such as "National Pilot Project of Modern Distance Education for Cadres in Rural party member", "Publicity and Cultural Project of Hundreds of Counties and Thousands of Townships" and voluntary service actions of grass-roots procuratorates in the west enjoy the same policy treatment.

(2) If you are a fresh graduate, you can also participate in teaching activities organized by the province. In fact, all provinces have implemented it in their own province after imitating the western plan of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League.
