Lenders can give borrowers a certain grace period, and the longest grace period for foreign exchange study loans is two years, which shall not exceed the schooling years of the educated. During the grace period, only the interest is paid, but the principal is not repaid. The borrower shall repay the loan principal and interest on schedule as agreed in the contract from the next month after the expiration of the grace period.
