Confucianism advocates benevolent governance, "benevolent people love others" and "don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you", which is consistent with China's current "people-oriented" policy. Taoist thought is "governing by doing nothing", which advocates not disturbing people and allowing people to develop freely. Today, advocating trade freedom, reducing agricultural taxes and providing student loans are all policies that encourage economic development, do not disturb the people and recuperate. "Universal love", "mutual non-aggression" and "Shang Xian" advocated by Mohism have a far-reaching influence on today's world peace concept, not to mention the Legalists. Today's rule of law corresponds to this, but today's rule of law or rule of virtue is different. In fact, these two ideas are reflected in today's society, and they permeate each other, providing social moral standards for today's society.
