As for hybrid vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles are not the dominant direction of national policies; Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is always regarded by most people as a "temporary" transitional product of "restricted cities".
But after the test drive of Don DM-i, I deeply feel that I need to update my knowledge.
At least in this test drive, I saw a totally different PHEV. It is no longer a policy product that can "get a green card". Even if you buy it separately regardless of the license plate, there is still enough product power to impress people.
This test drive is not a full road performance test drive, but an experience of Tang Zhanfanbang's "oil"-Tang DM-i super hybrid fuel-saving evaluation of Xiamen Station. Therefore, there is no performance test such as winding piles, and the driving experience in daily conditions is the main one.
The route of the test drive is to start from the 4S shop in Xiamen, refuel at the gas station, seal the fuel tank, pass through the urban roads, expressway, county roads and mountain roads, and measure the fuel consumption at the gas station in Zhangzhou. The fuel consumption test mileage is about 170km, of which expressway mileage is about 150km. After the fuel-saving evaluation, you can "willfully" step on the gas pedal.
The first time I saw Don DM-i, I was impressed by it's big and stocky. In appearance, it may always be "radish and vegetables". People who like it may like it very much, but people who are "insensitive" will be unmoved. When I was in the 4S shop, I carefully observed the gap tolerance of this car, and it was obvious that it was in line with the joint venture brand.
Tang DM-i adopts family-style front face design. The large mouth-shaped air intake grille, headlights with three LED lights and the "through" air intake of the lower air intake grille are all consistent with Song Pro and other models.
The curved surface and lines on the side of the car body are relatively simple, and the all-black tone is adopted behind the C-pillar to create a "suspended" roof. With 20-inch five-spoke wheels, it looks very "thick". Compared with complicated lines, this simple beauty should be more touching.
The tail adopts penetrating taillights, as well as "duckling tail" and "shark fin", and adopts convenient electric tailgate. Because Tang DM-i is a 7-seat car with a 2-3-2 layout, it is more spacious to put away the two seats at the back when driving. But the disadvantage is that the practicality of the third row of seats has not been tested. Visual inspection may be slightly smaller than the second row. Considering its wheelbase of 2820mm, people of medium build should be able to cope with daily rides.
