According to the Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center, from May 20, Shanghai began to withdraw housing provident fund to repay the loan business of buying houses in different places. The first two cities are Wujiang District of Suzhou City and Jiashan County of Jiaxing City.

The pilot business is clear. Workers who have paid housing provident fund in Shanghai do not have their own houses in Shanghai. Those who buy their own houses in Wujiang District of Suzhou and Jiashan County of Jiaxing City and obtain housing loans locally can apply for withdrawing the balance of the Shanghai housing provident fund account to repay the mortgage.
