High-tech Enterprise City (Yuhang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hangzhou) is located in the northern part of Zhejiang Province, at the southern end of Hangjiahu Plain and Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, close to Linping City, which has a complete living facilities, and in the center of the Yangtze River Delta Garden. It is the "bridgehead" connecting Hangzhou with Hujiahu industrial belt. It is 25 minutes' drive from Hangzhou International Airport, 40 minutes' drive from West Lake Scenic Area and Xixi Wetland, and it can reach major cities in East China within two hours. Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed railway and Hangzhou subway 1 line greatly shorten the traffic time between the development zone and the main urban area of Shanghai and Hangzhou.
The overall planning of High-tech Enterprise City (Hangzhou Yuhang Economic and Technological Development Zone) is divided into seven functional blocks: traditional industrial upgrading zone, high-tech industrial zone, new equipment manufacturing zone, public service center zone, urban renewal zone, business zone and supporting residential zone. Industrial orientation is to focus on the development of "4+ 1" leading industries, namely, health industry, equipment manufacturing industry, green industry, communication electronics and textile and garment industry after transformation and upgrading. At present, Yuhang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hangzhou has been awarded "Zhejiang Biomedical Industry Demonstration Base" by the provincial government.
