Legal analysis: being detained for criminal cases does not affect personal credit information. Credit investigation refers to the document issued by the People's Bank of China, which only aims at the bad records generated by using credit cards, and will not show whether you have been in prison or detained. Where there are other provisions in the law, those provisions shall prevail.

Legal basis: Article 255 of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that if the person subjected to execution fails to perform the obligations specified in the legal documents, the people's court may take or notify the relevant units to assist in taking measures such as restricting exit, recording in the credit information system, publishing non-performance information through the media and other measures prescribed by law.
