On June 18, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province issued a 15 phased policy to support reasonable housing demand.

According to the new media, the policy points out that the minimum down payment ratio is 20% for households who apply for commercial loans by purchasing ordinary commercial housing or second-hand housing for the first time, and they enjoy the preferential interest rate for the first loan when purchasing ordinary self-occupied housing.

At the same time, increase support for housing provident fund, implement differentiated housing credit policies, encourage banks to further reduce the interest rate of the first set of housing loans just needed by households, and strengthen the issuance of commercial housing mortgage loans with more favorable interest rates and faster speed.

The above measures are valid until September 30, 2022.

According to the policy, support for rigid and improved housing demand will be increased. Workers' families with three children will apply for individual housing provident fund loans according to national policies, and the maximum loan amount will rise by 50%, while speeding up the raising of affordable rental housing.
