Article 5 The department in charge of the resettlement of retired soldiers under the State Council is responsible for the resettlement of retired soldiers nationwide.

The competent departments for the resettlement of retired soldiers of the local people's governments at or above the county level are responsible for the resettlement of retired soldiers in their respective administrative regions.

Relevant departments of the people's government and relevant departments of the military should do a good job in the resettlement of retired soldiers within the scope of their respective responsibilities.

Article 6: Retired soldiers shall abide by laws and regulations regarding the placement of retired soldiers and obey the placement of the people's government.
