In fact, the development of Yongchun was blocked by Koizumi. Just after the reform and opening up, it was positioned as an agricultural county by prefecture-level cities, that is, the water source of "Shanmei Reservoir". Yongchun is not allowed to develop industry, and coal resources are controlled by the province and Koizumi. Many chemical plants and paper mills were not approved, and the original factories were closed. To know the ceramic craft in Dehua county, many of them are senior craftsmen from Yongchun, but they just don't introduce them to set up their own factories. For example, Fu Jie Township in Yongchun is an ancient ceramic base and porcelain clay mineral area, and there is no cement factory for iron and steel enterprises. The fertilizer plant was once the most famous enterprise in Yongchun and Jinjiang, but it was ruthlessly destroyed. Quanzhou and the local government specially set up a "Niumulin" to put their limited funds into the forest. They also set up the Meiling Group in Yidu Town, which is hundreds of kilometers away from Yongchun. The loans of the whole county have been taken away by remote rural areas, because the factories in that area will not pollute Koizumi's water source. The Shenxiang industry in Dapu Town of Yongchun was originally intended to locate the advanced units in the province, but later it was stuck in Quanzhou, turning the so-called Xiaoshan Gully Meiling Village in Yidu into the advanced units in the province, and so on.
