High-standard Xuning (Airport) Road and 104 in Suining County National highways, provincial, municipal and county-level highways crisscross the area, including Suxin Expressway and Xinyang Expressway. The Xu (Su)-Ning Expressway traverses the east and west; the Beijing-Shanghai and Huolian Expressways pass by Suining. Shaji Town and Suqian City are at the junction, and the junction is the Xuhuai Highway Overpass

In 2014, Suining Ning County achieved a regional GDP of 41 billion yuan, an increase of 12.1%, ranking first in Xuzhou. The investment in fixed assets above designated size was 21.5 billion yuan, an increase of 23%, ranking among the top in the city; the total retail sales of consumer goods in the society was 11.1 billion yuan, an increase of 14%; the actual registered foreign capital was US$120 million, and the total import and export volume was US$450 million. The per capita disposable income of urban residents reached 19,846 yuan, an increase of 10.2%; the per capita disposable income of farmers reached 11,915 yuan, an increase of 11.5%, and the city's leading growth rate in both incomes.

In 2014, Suining County’s public finance budget revenue reached 3.86 billion yuan, an increase of 21%, ranking fourth in the province and second in the city; among which, tax revenue reached 3.32 billion yuan, with a tax share of 86, value-added tax, business tax, etc. completed 2.03 billion yuan, accounting for 61%. The growth rate of value-added tax and income tax, which reflects the quality of economic operation, remained the city's leading. Runqi Corporate Bonds became the first non-top 100 county in Jiangsu Province to issue bonds. The deposit and loan balances of financial institutions in Suining County reached 28.2 billion yuan and 17 billion yuan respectively, a net increase of 3.8 billion yuan and 3 billion yuan from the beginning of the year, leading the city in incremental growth.
