The student loan interest is calculated at 5.35%.

The loan amount is subject to the sum of tuition and accommodation fees, with an annual limit of 8,000 yuan for undergraduate and junior college students and12,000 yuan for graduate students.

The loan interest of the borrowing students during their school days is fully subsidized by the state finance and does not bear any expenses. Students only need to repay the loan principal in one lump sum before graduation. If the loan is not paid off after graduation, the interest will be calculated according to the benchmark interest rate of the same period and grade stipulated by the People's Bank of China, and only the interest will be repaid without the principal within three years. Repayment will be made in installments from the fourth year.
