Karate is a Japanese fighting technique, which uses hands and feet to beat each other. This kind of fighting action is not allowed to hit the opponent's body in the game, and it must be stopped before hitting the opponent, otherwise it is a foul. /kloc-In the middle of the 4th century, China Wushu was introduced to Ryukyu Islands. At that time, there were frequent exchanges between China and Ryukyu, and China Boxing was introduced to Ryukyu, which developed into a local martial art called "Tang Boxing". Due to the long-term influence of martial law, "Tang shou" was once taught in secret, and it was not until 1905 that it became a popular martial art publicly. 1935, because "Tang shou" contains the meaning of China, and the Japanese pronunciation of "Tang shou" and "empty hand" is the same, so it was changed to "empty hand" and became Japanese martial arts.

Karate is divided into three systems because of the different ages and fighting styles of martial arts in China. It is the first hand, the bully and the parking hand. The three schools later further developed into the "four schools" in traditional karate. The representative of the number one leader is Funakoshi Gichin. Because of his nickname "Songtao", his empty hand is called "Songtaoge empty hand or Songtaoge empty hand". The representative figure of "Naha player" is Miyagi Changshun, who set up "combining rigidity with softness, empty-handed". Following "Songtao Pavilion" and "Rigid and Flexible Flow", in 1929, Mo Wen Renxian founded "Rende Flowing East with Empty Hands". In the same year, Otsuka Ji Bo established "Empty-handed He Daoliu".

1935, Funakoshi Gichin published the book Karate Teaching Method, which officially renamed Tang Shou as Karate. 1970, the world karate league was established and the first world karate championship was held. At present, the official international organization of karate is the World Karate Federation. The competition standards of the types (routines) of the World Karate Federation are only the designated types of the four major schools.
