DisplayPort (DP) is a digital video interface standard developed by the alliance of PC and chip manufacturers and standardized by video electronics standards association (VESA). The interface does not need authentication and authorization, and is mainly used to connect video sources with monitors and other devices, and also supports carrying audio, USB and other forms of data.
