Shandong Art and Design Vocational College was founded in 1985 and was formerly known as China Correspondence University Jinan Branch. Chapter 5 Admission Rules

Article 16 Our school strictly implements the recruitment and examination spirit of the Ministry of Education and each enrollment province, and implements the "Fairness, Justice and Openness" principle. The "Sunshine Admissions" project is mainly based on the college entrance examination results, and also takes into account the comprehensive assessment of "moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic", comprehensive evaluation, and merit-based admission.

Article 17 Admission Rules

(1) Candidates applying for art majors in our school, if there is a provincial-level unified examination for relevant majors in their place of origin, candidates must obtain a unified examination certificate for the major they are applying for. Or the results have reached a passing level; for majors that do not have a provincial unified professional examination, you must obtain the same or similar professional certificate in the relevant major category of the undergraduate college recognized by the local provincial admissions examination authority.

(2) Admission rules for art majors in Shandong Province: According to the Shandong Provincial Department of Education’s “Notice on Issuing the Implementation Plan for the Enrollment of Art Majors in General Colleges and Universities in Shandong Province in 2020” (Lujiao Zhaozi) [2020] No. 2) Document spirit, candidates in Shandong Province who apply for various art majors in our school will implement parallel voluntary submissions, and will be admitted in order from high to low based on comprehensive scores. (3) Admission rules for non-art majors in Shandong Province: Candidates who enter the program and meet the requirements of the major will be admitted in descending order according to their scores in cultural courses.

(4) Admission rules for art majors for foreign candidates in Shandong Province: As long as it does not violate local policies, if the student’s place of origin has an art major that has been admitted by the provincial unified examination, our school will select online and majors based on their cultural class scores. Candidates will be admitted in descending order according to their scores in subjects. When the candidates have the same scores in professional subjects, they will be admitted in order from high to low in terms of their scores in cultural subjects. If their scores in cultural subjects are the same again, candidates in arts and literature will be admitted according to their scores in Chinese, English and mathematics in the National College Entrance Examination. Science candidates will be ranked according to their scores in mathematics, English and Chinese in the College Entrance Examination, or in order of their scores in Chinese, English and Mathematics in the case of arts and sciences, and will be admitted from high to low. In other cases, the admission results will be decided collectively by our school's Admissions Committee.

(5) Admission rules for general (arts and sciences) majors: Ranking is based on the total college entrance examination scores announced by the provincial examination bureaus, and admissions are based on the plan from high to low. When candidates submit scores that are the same, if the province where the candidate is located has regulations on sorting the same points, the regulations of the province will be followed. If there are no relevant regulations in the province where the candidate is located, liberal arts candidates will be ranked according to the college entrance examination Chinese, English, and mathematics scores, and science and engineering candidates will be ranked according to the college entrance examination mathematics, English and Chinese scores, regardless of arts and sciences, are ranked according to the order of Chinese, English, and mathematics scores in the college entrance examination, and admission is from high to low. Article 18 There is no restriction on the ratio of male to female students in admission to all majors in our school.

Article 19: All majors in our school do not impose restrictions on the foreign language language used by candidates during the college entrance examination, but after entering the school, all foreign language teaching will be in English.

Article 20 The admission results of our school shall be based on the roster published by the local provincial admissions examination bureau.

Article 21 After the new students register for admission, our school’s Admissions Office will re-verify the admission qualifications of all new students with the Academic Affairs Office, and organize professional re-examinations for art major candidates. If they are found not to meet the application conditions and Those who fail to complete the formalities or commit fraud will have their admission qualifications revoked.

Article 22 After new students enroll, our school will organize a physical examination for new students in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education. Those who fail the physical examination will have their admission qualifications cancelled, and the candidates' files will be returned to their place of origin.

Chapter 6 Fee Collection, Refund Standards and Student Aid Policy

Article 23 Fee Standards

Article 24 Refund Standards

Our school implements a fee-paying "green channel" system for new students from families with financial difficulties. Freshmen can apply for the "green channel" for admission through two ways:

For new students who apply for admission through the "green channel", the school will handle relevant affairs in accordance with the principle of "accept first, then review". Chapter 7 Graduation Certificate

Article 27 When the student’s study period expires and meets the graduation conditions stipulated in the student status management of Shandong Art and Design Vocational College, he or she will be issued a Shandong Art Certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education. The general higher education diploma of the Design Vocational College is electronically registered with the Ministry of Education and enjoys the treatment of junior college graduates from ordinary universities. Chapter 8 Supplementary Provisions

Article 29 If there is any inconsistency between this charter and superior policy documents, the superior policy documents shall prevail. Matters not covered shall be handled in accordance with relevant regulations of superiors.
