Gushan Town is located in the eastern part of Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone, in the lower reaches of Wuzhu River, in the coastal hilly area, with a total area of 49 square kilometers and a population of19300 (2011). The coastline is 18.5km long, with the Yellow Sea in the east and Liu Gongdao across the sea in the north. The town center is located in Nakamura. It is 25 kilometers away from Weihai Airport and 9 kilometers away from railway station and bus station. Chengda Line and Huanhai Road pass through the territory. The town has jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages, with 690 hectares of cultivated land and 0/20 hectares of orchards, and 7 domestic and foreign-funded enterprises above designated size.
