The development of history
In the third year of Yonghe in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 188), Yongning County was located in Dongou, Zhang 'an County. Shangtang, the county seat, is the 39th capital of Yongning Township. According to legend, it was a lake pond in ancient times, and Xiatang Mountain (Longquan Mountain) and Yushan Mountain (Zen Mountain) divided the water town into three ponds (Shangtang, Tang Zhong and Xiatang) and San Pu (Pudong, Puxi and Pukou). The county seat is located in the upper part of Yushan Mountain range, hence the name Shangtang. 1943 to 1947, called Shuiduiwan Township, Shatou District, Yongjia County, and later called Shangtang Township, Shatou District. Liberation in May 1949, Shangtang, Xiatang, Weishi and Luzhang townships were established within the existing jurisdiction. 1956 The four villages of Waishan, Lishuzhang, Hengxi and Dior in Xiatang Township are included in Tang Zhong Township, while the two villages of Shancang and He 'ao in Weishi Township and Ren Jing Village in Luzhang Township are included in the branch, and the last four townships are merged to form Shangtang Township. 1957, Lu Zhang Xiang Fu, Ren Jing Village Gui. 1August, 958, Yongjia County People's Government moved to Shangtang. On June+10, 5438, Chen 'ao Village, Luzhang, the resident of Shangtang Commune, was established, which governed six administrative districts, namely Luzhang, Tang Zhong, Lukou, Shatou, Zhikou and Xialiao. Shangtang Township was originally a town directly under the county. 1960 September, the former ancient temple people's commune merged with the administrative districts of Shatou, Zhikou and Xialiao of Shangtang People's Commune to form Shatou People's Commune, and the former Shangtang People's Commune merged with Tang Zhong, Lukou, Luzhang Administrative District and Shangtang Town to be called Shangtang Town People's Commune, and its headquarters moved to Shangtang. 196 1 year, Shangtang, Tang Zhong and Lukou were reorganized into people's communes respectively, and Lu Zhang was merged into Shangtang People's Commune, directly under the county leadership. 1964, Shangtang People's Commune was approved as an organic town by the province. 1980, Shangtang People's Government was formally established. 1May, 992, the former Tang Zhong Township and Lukou Township merged. 200 1, the original three administrative villages of Shangtang Town, Zhikou Town and huang tian zhen and six administrative villages of Luodong Town were merged into the new Shangtang Town.
