There are three kinds of guarantee mortgages for studying in Australia:

1. Real estate mortgage: The loan amount shall not exceed 60% of the value of collateral recognized by the lender.

2. Pledge (mortgage of government bonds and bank certificates of deposit): the loan amount shall not exceed 80% of the value of the pledged property.

3. Credit guarantee: if a third party provides joint and several liability guarantee, if the guarantor is a legal person recognized by the bank, it can pay in full; If it is a natural person recognized by the bank, the loan amount shall not exceed 200,000 yuan. The borrower shall collect the application approval form (in duplicate) from the branch designated by the bank, fill it out truthfully according to the requirements of the application form, and hand it over to the bank after signing and stamping.

The borrower is an Australian student and must provide the following materials:

1. People's Republic of China (PRC) * * * passport with entry visa formalities for the country where the school is located;

2. The original and photocopy of the ID card, marriage certificate, household registration book or valid residence certificate issued by the competent authority of the borrower and spouse;

3. The valid admission documents such as the admission notice and the admission notice issued by the school for studying abroad and the relevant necessary expenses certificates, and provide my academic credentials;

4. Provide China citizens with safe civil capacity as the domestic agent of the borrower, and provide their domestic agent's ID card, relevant residence certificate and mailing address;

5. If the property is mortgaged or pledged, the ownership certificate of the mortgaged property or the original of the pledged property, the documents and certificates of the person who has the right to dispose of the property (including the person who agrees to mortgage or pledge the property) shall be provided, and the appraisal certificate of the mortgaged (pledged) property issued by the competent department shall be provided when necessary;

6. If the guarantor is a legal person, it shall issue a written document that the guarantor agrees to guarantee (if the guarantor is a branch of a legal person, it shall also issue a guarantee document authorized by the legal person), the business license of the enterprise as a legal person, the audited financial statements of the previous year and the latest period, and relevant credit certification materials; If the guarantor is a natural person, it shall provide the guarantor's identity card, household registration book, income or property certificate and other credit certificates;

7. Other information required by the bank:

If the borrower is the immediate family member or spouse of the overseas students studying in Australia, the materials provided are the same as those in Items 2, 5, 6 and 7 above, and the original and photocopy of the valid certificate that can prove the relationship between the borrower and the overseas students; Proof of the borrower's income or property; Students who intend to study abroad with passports from People's Republic of China (PRC) and China have gone through the entry visa formalities in the country where the school is located. The bank shall make a reply within seven working days after receiving the above application materials from the borrower.

As far as the matters needing attention in the above-mentioned overseas study loan are concerned, after the contract is signed, the overseas study loan will be directly transferred by the bank to the savings card or current savings account opened by the borrower in the bank. The borrower shall deposit the repayable loan principal and interest into a savings card or current savings account before the loan expires as agreed in the loan contract. After all the loan principal and interest are paid off, the bank will return all the vouchers to the mortgagor or pledger, and go through the mortgage (pledge) cancellation registration procedures.
