The grace period for repayment of principal is extended from 2 years to 3 years. Students who borrow money during the grace period only need to repay the interest, not the loan principal. The grace period for repayment of the principal starts from the confirmation of the repayment plan and ends at the 36th month after the borrower graduates. Borrowing students who continue to pursue their degrees during the repayment period can still enjoy a grace period of 36 months after graduation.
